Thermal energy is a new BA study launched by the Bialystok University of Technology in the academic year 2022/2023. Graduates will be educated by the best professionals, including practitioners employed in industry, and along with the course of their studies, they will also gain the opportunity to gain valuable professional qualifications.

Thermal Energy is a study that includes various areas of energy industries, actually linked directl to energy, i.e. with the conversion of various energy sources, including renewable energy into electricity, but this study also includes all kinds of technologies related to the conversion of energy into heat and cold, and thus heat pumps, as well as refrigeration and air conditioning says Prof. Eng. Dariusz Butrymowicz, the head of the Department of Thermal Technology at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University.

The theoretical, design and practical knowledge, as well as the skills to work on specialized computational and design software can be used not only when working as a design engineer or service engineer, but also at managerial levels during the supervision and service of energy projects.
