Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University to hold an international scientific conference “Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński and Religious Freedom in Europe”

The International Scientific Conference “Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński and Religious Freedom in Europe” will be held on the eve of the beatification of the Primate of the Millennium, on September 11, at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw. 

A scientific publication “Cardinal Wyszyński and religious freedom in Europe” will be presented as a beatification votive offered to the Primate Wyszyński.

The organizers are planning to present the greatness of Cardinal Wyszyński in relations with the churches of neighboring nations: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Germany; to promote the idea of ​​freedom and human dignity; in the fight for religious rights. The aim of the conference is also to promote knowledge about Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński and his works in the context of religious freedom.

The conference is organized by the UKSW University Center for Research on Religious Freedom, the Department of Interreligious Dialogue and Humanitarian Aid UKSW and the Department of Pastoral Theology and Auxiliary Sciences UKSW.
