Carpathian State University becomes a member of the “Aviation Valley”

09.09.2020

The Carpathian State University in Krosno became a supporting member of the Association of the Aviation Valley Entrepreneurs Group “Aviation Valley”.

The Aviation Valley Association is the largest industrial and technological cluster in Poland, which was established in April 2003. It currently associates 90 production companies related to the aviation industry, located in the south-eastern part of Poland.

The founding members of the cluster were about a dozen aviation companies from the Podkarpacie and Bielsko-Biała regions, the Rzeszów University of Technology and two regional development agencies – RARR and MARR.

To maintain industry leadership as a driver of cluster development, all newly admitted members must represent aviation companies. In order to develop cooperation between the aviation industry and universities and R&D institutions, the “AERONET-Aviation Valley” Advanced Technology Center was established.
