Clinical R&D centre for medicine and animal husbandry and climate protection to be built in Poznań

The cornerstone for the construction of a clinical R&D centre for medicine and animal husbandry and climate protection was ceremoniously laid on the grounds of the Poznań University of Life Sciences. The aim of the investment is to increase the university’s research and innovation potential in the field of the environmental impact of animal husbandry and breeding, as well as methods of protecting animal health.

The investment will create a modern and innovative R&D infrastructure for world-class research in the fields of animal welfare, climate protection, human and animal diseases of civilisation. 

The centre will be a modern, specialised building in which it is planned to carry out research in the fields of biological sciences, zootechnics, veterinary science, pre-clinical and translational research enabling the results of research conducted on animals to be transferred to clinical practice.
