At the Polish Embassy in Argentina, in the presence of the President of the Polish Space Agency (POLSA), Grzegorz Wrochna, the Polish space sector company Cloudferro and the Argentinian SpaceSur signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement concerns the development and commercialization of the “Big Data” platform for processing satellite imagery of the Earth.

“The Polish space sector is developing dynamically: new companies are established and the current ones are looking for new markets. South America is a place where the demand for services offered by CloudFerro is very high. A vast area that is difficult to cover with ground infrastructure, droughts, earthquakes, Patagonia’s forests or illegal fishing. This is where satellite technologies prove their worth, which can be used for monitoring and management in crisis situations”, said Grzegorz Wrochna, the president of the Polish Space Agency.
