Consortium project with the University of Zielona Góra receives European Commission funding

The HPC4Poland consortium, which includes the University of Zielona Góra, has received a positive decision from the European Commission for the funding of the ‘HPC4Poland European Digital Innovation Hub’ project.

The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness and innovation of companies and public organisations through their digital transformation. Experts will offer support in increasing awareness and availability of advanced digital services and tools, as well as in selecting solutions tailored to the needs of specific companies or organisations.

Solutions will be based on secure and reliable high-performance computing, cloud simulations, sensor system solutions, augmented and virtual reality, collaborative robots and AI and Big Data solutions, reports the university.

Worth almost €2 million, the project will be carried out in a partnership of fourteen companies and organisations. The leader of the project is the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
