On Wednesday, 28 March the celebration of the Francophony Days, organized by the Institute of Romance Languages ​​and Translatory will take place at the University of Silesia. The motto of this year’s event is “Francophonie 2018: Entre tradition et modernité (Francophony 2018: between tradition and modernity).

The program includes language and translation workshops for high school and junior high school students combined with a translation competition and a presentation of the Institute of Romance Languages’ offer ​​and the career prospects for multilingual people.

During the Days of Francophonie, participants of the competition “Francophonie: entre tradition et modernité” will be awarded prizes. In the artistic part, a concert of French music will be performed by Edyta Poznańska.

Also the presentations “Entre ciel et mer: fin de la terre. A propos de voyages bretons et autres ” and ” Entre homme et machine: les langues à l’ère numérique ” will be organized.
