The Medical University of Gdansk, the Gdansk University of Technology and the University of Gdansk have signed a cooperation agreement with the Polish Nuclear Power Plants (PEJ). The main objective of the agreement is to develop human resources potential for the nuclear industry.

The signed agreement includes the development of faculties related to nuclear energy, preparation of students and graduates to enter the labour market in the energy sector, conducting educational classes by PEJ employees and co-organising events and communication and information meetings for the development of a social dialogue platform.

The nuclear power plant project is a long-term process involving specialists and experts from various disciplines. Fahrenheit’s universities include nearly 42,000 students and 3,800 academics. And the demand for high-class specialists in this sector will grow, especially in the Pomeranian region due to the first nuclear power plant planned here in Poland.
