The Medical University of Gdańsk, the Gdańsk University of Technology, the University of Gdańsk and the Maritime University of Gdynia, on the initiative of the Special Purpose Companies Agreement, will undertake cooperation under the new activity “We discover the needs of companies for innovation”, aimed at developing cooperation in the local innovation ecosystem.

Experts of the cooperating universities will conduct 30 interviews with regional companies in order to understand the needs of Pomeranian enterprises, identify their innovative potential and assess barriers preventing the growth of this potential.

Identification of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs today and the diagnosis of the existing limitations of the development of the innovation ecosystem will allow for the creation of solutions within the scope of products, services, processes, marketing and organizational methods. This will contribute to the intensification of activities influencing the development of innovative companies, foreign expansion of local entrepreneurs as well as economic and social development.
