The Offshore Center is being built in Gdańsk, near the Wisłoujście Fortress. The task of the Gdynia Maritime University unit is to create a local, Polish supply chain for the offshore industry. The center may become the nucleus of a larger organism of the “Polish Offshore Valley”.

The investment consists of two two-story buildings connected by a connector. In building no. 1, 95 percent of the shell construction works have been completed. Concrete girders in the hall and HC ceilings on the last floor were installed. Currently, works related to the implementation of the attics and the elevator shaft are in progress. In building no. 2, the shell works have already been completed.

The value of the investment along with the equipment is estimated at approximately PLN 50 million. The project is co-financed by the European Union funds – Regional Operational Program of the Pomeranian Voivodeship for 2014-2020 by the European Regional Development Fund. The works are scheduled to be completed in June 2023.
