Institute of Medical Sciences of the State Higher to be launched at Vocational School in Chełm

The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm received PLN 28.5 million to create the Institute of Medical Sciences.

On May 13, 2019, the PWSZ in Chełm received a symbolic check for PLN 28.5 million and the decision of the vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaroslaw Gowin to erect the didactic building of the Institute of Medical Sciences of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm.

The Institute of Medical Sciences is to be established in Chełm until 2022. The rector of the PWSZ in Chełm Dr Eng. Arkadiusz Tofil emphasized that there is a constant increase in the demand for such employees both from hospitals and other medical institutions.

– The University is trying to obtain the opportunity to educate students also within the regular Nursing course. My dream is to launch our own clinic hospital- said the Rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm.
