Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar at the Wrocław University of Technology to hold the first lecture after summer holidays

Prof. Krzysztof Matyjaszewski from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, a world-famous expert in polymer chemistry, will be the first lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar at the Wrocław University of Technology after the summer break. 

Prof. Matyjaszewski works at the Faculty of Chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (USA). He is the director of the Center for Macromolecular Engineering, and leads the controlled radical polymerization consortium participated by 60 chemical companies. He published 24 monographs and 1,200 articles. He is the author of 65 US patents and over 150 international patents.

The scientist will give a lecture on “Advanced materials by taming free radicals”. The stationary meeting will be held on October 22 at the Congress Center of the University of Technology. The Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar is a series addressed to a wide audience interested in broadening their knowledge.
