05.08.2020

The rectors of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow are planning new forms of education in the winter semester of the 2020/21 academic year considering the risk of the coronavirus pandemic. The students will be educated depending on the decision taken by the faculty. In the case of doctoral studies, the rectors decided that classes would be held remotely, and the classes at the university will be held only in special cases.

Due to the current epidemiological situation, the rectors of the Jagiellonian University decided to provide education in one of the three forms. They assume the stationary education with elements of distance education, remote education with elements of stationary education or only in the remote way.

Classes in doctoral schools and doctoral studies will be conducted with the use of remote learning methods and techniques. If it is not possible to organize remote education, the classes will be held at the university. The method of conducting research will be agreed individually by PhD students with their supervisors or academic tutors.
