Jagiellonian University to hold IV Krakow Judaic Conference

The Institute of Jewish Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow is organizing the 4th Krakow Judaic Conference on 6-7 May 2022, which will be held online on the MS Teams platform.

The conference is intended for students and doctoral students who research the history and culture of Jews. Its main task is to enable participants to present the results of their previous research. It is also to be a platform for the exchange of views, experiences and ideas for young researchers interested in Jewish issues.

The organizers are announcing that during the conference, participants will discuss history and culture of Jews from ancient times to the present day; development and functioning of contemporary Jewish communities in the diaspora; history, politics and society of contemporary Israel; Holocaust issues; the phenomenon of anti-Semitism; Jewish literature and music or Jewish material heritage.
