Jan Kochanowski University to cooperate with the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center

14.02.2020

Representatives of the Jan Kochanowski University (UJK) in Kielce and the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center (ŚCO) have signed an agreement on scientific cooperation.

Prof. Stanisław Góźdź, director of the ŚCO emphasized that such cooperation is necessary for the further development of both institutions.

-Our Department of Molecular Diagnostics will become part of the UJK Institute of Biology. This will give incredible potential for diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities for each of our patients. Today’s progress and development of medicine stems only from close cooperation with basic sciences such as chemistry, biology and physics – noted Prof. Góźdź.

-We want to integrate our efforts to have a striking effect of our cooperation, not only in the region, but also internationally. It is also about not only implementing modern diagnostic methods and therapies, but to look for solutions that will be our export products – emphasized in turn Prof. Jacek Semaniak, rector of the Jagiellonian University.
