Kielce University of Technology and the Polish Armaments Group sign agreement on cooperation

During the 29th International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) signed a cooperation agreement with the Kielce University of Technology. Their activities will focus on joint research and development, as well as internship programs.

Professor Zbigniew Koruba, the rector of the Świętokrzyskie University emphasizes, that this is one of the most important contracts that the University of Technology has recently signed. He highlights that cooperation between science and the defense industry is the key to PGZ becoming a global giant.

-We want to establish the Science and Implementation Center of Defense Technologies and Security Systems at the Kielce University of Technology. Such a specialized center will allow university to conduct research primarily for the Mesko company. Soon the university of technology will start the first project of cooperation with the Skarżysko-based company, concerning the vectorization of a rocket engine for anti-tank missiles – explains the rector.

In the near future, the university will also establish cooperation with the Maritime Technology Center.
