KoKoS Student Construction Competition completed

The Foton solar plane, the HALYNA wind turbine and the Kalman planetary rover are the projects of students from the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków that won in three of the seven categories of the KoKoS Student Construction Competition.

In the ninth round, winners were selected in seven categories:

Ecology – HALYNA wind turbine (AGH Eko-Energia from AGH in Krakow);

Smart Robots – Kalman planetary rover (AGH Space System from AGH in Krakow);

Vehicle – Poland’s first side-by-side electric off-road buggy LEM SSV (LEM Wrocław Motorsport from Wrocław University of Science and Technology);

Railway – adaptation of the design of the PUTrain locomotive to be partially powered by alternative energy sources (Scientific Circle of Public Transport Engineers, Poznań University of Technology);

Life Upgrade – POKOV2 – a vehicle for people with disabilities controlled using visual control (Krzysztof Lingo from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun);

Sky – autonomous unmanned solar plane Foton (AGH Solar Plane from AGH Krakow);

Joker – a turbopump of a BSX hybrid rocket engine (PUT RocketLab at Poznan University of Technology).
