Koszalin University of Technology to join the project of building spacecraft

The Koszalin University of Technology will cooperate with the Kiev University of Technology – National Technical University of Ukraine and the Polish-Ukrainian company Baltic Orbital Services. The partners will work on the design and manufacture of components for propelling space microsatellites. 

The cooperation in Poland will concern the production of engine components and also the production of tugging vehicles for satellites. The tugs will be responsible for the transport of equipment and propulsion loads. Specialists from the 3D Printing Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Koszalin University of Technology will manufacture the arm for the tugboat.

The agreement signed by the partners is opening the way to the development of cooperation between the Koszalin University of Technology and Ukrainian scientists also in the field of fuels and propulsion systems for spacecraft and in the implementation of joint mechatronics and robotics projects.
