Lodz University of Technology becomes a leader among technical universities in obtaining funds for research in the Horizon Europe program

The Lodz University of Technology ranks first among technical universities in Poland in terms of the use of financial resources, from the largest program in the history of the European Union supporting research and innovation – Horizon Europe.

The university in Lodz implements 7 projects under the Horizon Europe program, including as many as 3 as coordinators.

“We received information about this third project coordination on July 5, so the amount of money granted to us increased further. The budget allocated to universities for their implementation amounts to a total of almost EUR 2.7 million” informs Prof. Łukasz Albrecht, Vice-Rector for Science, Lodz University of Technology.

The latest project coordinated by PŁ is BioTrainValue. The value of the project is over EUR 1.25 million (including EUR 184 thousand for TUL). The aim of the project is the development and experimental testing of new technologies related to the processing of biomass into innovative bioproducts for energy and agriculture.


Innovations
