The Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice received the Green Phoenix 2021 statuette for achievements in implementing eco-energy solutions and technologies. The award was received by the director of the Institute, Dr Eng. Barbara Juszczyk at the XII – XIII Ecoenergy Festival 2021. 

The main task of the Foundation for the Development of Eco-energy “Green Phoenix” is to disseminate knowledge about renewable energy sources, as well as to inform about the relationship between the energy industry and the natural and social environment.

The Foundation supports social, local government and business organizations in the popularization and implementation of modern solutions regarding renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, alternative fuels and ecological waste disposal.
