ElectroMobility Poland, Polska Grupa Motoryzacyjna and the Łukasiewicz Research Network have signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation to involve as many domestic entrepreneurs as possible into the Izera supply chain – the make of Polish electric cars.

The parties to the agreement are planning to use the potential of the Łukasiewicz Research Network in developing technology for the vehicle. As a result, Izera is to be the result of close cooperation between Polish entrepreneurs and Polish scientists and engineers.

One of the strategic directions of the Łukasiewicz network is to support the automotive industry, which is the second largest industry in the Polish economy, and its production amounts to an average of 13% of GDP. The Łukasiewicz Network of interdisciplinary institutes, and above all a group of over 4,500 scientists, has broad competences to act as a comprehensive research and development base for the Izera electric car project – said Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
