Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin to launch Programming Academy

Students can apply for a competition “Algorithms and data structures” and the course “Fundamentals of Programming”, organized as part of the Academy of Programming at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (UMCS).

The programs are addressed to a wide range of students interested in programming and are aimed at popularizing information technology among students of schools in the Lublin province. The organizer of the initiatives is the UMCS Institute of Computer Science in Lublin.

UMCS Programming Academy is a long-term educational project that aims to popularize information technology among school students from the Lublin province. The Academy’s offer is addressed not only to top managers, but also to a wide range of students interested in programming. The organizers want to motivate students to broaden their horizons and prove that IT issues can be presented in an interesting and accessible form.
