The agreement concluded between the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin and the Central Information Technology Center (COI) provides for the implementation of joint research, IT, implementation, educational and social projects, the organization of COI apprenticeship and internship programs for members of the University’s academic community, substantive support for employees and students in computer science, as well as taking joint activities aimed at promoting this science. 

-We managed to finalize the project, which, I hope, in the near future will bear fruit, successes of mutual benefit in teaching, education, and research, – said Prof.  Radosław Dobrowolski, rector of UMCS.

COI is currently the largest company in the country implementing IT projects for the public sector. It also performs tasks assigned by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
