Dr Cezary Wojtyła from the Kalisz Academy won the Award of the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding young scientists demonstrating significant achievements in scientific activity in 2022. He is one of four scientists awarded in the field of health sciences, the university informs.

A scientist from the University of Kalisz is working on the use of microarrays based on neoglycolipid technology in multiomic research on the search for a biomarker of endometriosis. Thanks to his research, the Kaliska Academy cooperates with one of the best universities in the world – Imperial College in London – and is part of a larger one that uses new “omics” technologies to develop an early, non-invasive diagnostic method of endometriosis.

This is the seventeenth edition of the competition, which awards outstanding scientists from all over Poland who conduct research in various fields and disciplines of science.
