Ministry of Education and Science to allocate over 21 million PLN for Polish metrology

The Ministry of Education and Science will allocate over PLN 21 million to the implementation of 26 projects that have been qualified for funding under the competition under the “Polish Metrology” program.

Among the selected projects, PLN 1 million will be awarded to the consortium of Gdynia Maritime University, Gdańsk University of Technology and the University of Gdańsk for the implementation of the project “Concept of construction of metrological infrastructure in the area of underwater acoustics at GUM”.

Nearly 1 million will be received by the consortium led by the Krakow University of Technology for the project “Development of the basis for hierarchical measurements of large engineering structures using point and field methods”. A similar amount will support the implementation of the Lublin University of Technology’s project “Intelligent measurement techniques in the diagnosis and forecasting of shaft fractures and their dimensional and shape accuracy” and the consortium led by the Opole University of Technology, which will implement the project “Functional surface analysis in mechanical engineering”.
