More foreign scientists to work at the Opole University of Technology

Prof. Radek Martinek from the Czech Republic and prof. Navneet Khanna from India will conduct research at the Opole University of Technology. They are other foreign scientists who want to develop scientifically at the Opole university. Their stay is possible thanks to grants from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.

Prof. Radek Martinek works at the Technical University in Ostrava, Czech Republic and deals with biomedical engineering and IT. Prof. Navneet Khanna works at the Technical University in Pilani, India and deals with sustainable manufacturing in the machining area, which is the key research area of ​​the Opole University of Technology.

– The presence of foreign scientists with outstanding achievements in science is primarily a value for our students, the socio-economic environment, which will also benefit from research. In this way, the university of technology also strengthens its position in the international arena – says Prof. Marcin Lorenc, rector of the Opole University of Technology.
