National Agency for Academic Exchange to support Polish-Ukrainian research projects

The National Agency for Academic Exchange has published a list of 15 Polish-Ukrainian projects to be implemented in 2023-24 as joint research projects.

The winners include two projects from the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University of Lublin: ‘Polish-Ukrainian synergy for the study of subnanometric structure of biosensors’, in cooperation with Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University (DSPU), and ‘Strategic partnership between Poland and Ukraine in the context of geopolitics of Central and Eastern Europe’, in cooperation with the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University.

In addition, the Lublin University of Technology together with Lviv Technical University received funding for the project “Pozzolanic materials obtained from fly ash as new generation additives used in the production technology of green concretes”, and Krakow University of Technology together with Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture will carry out the project “Evaluation of selected historical housing estates (in Krakow and Kyiv), which were built on the basis of the theory of “”garden city”” by Ebenezer Howard’s theory, from the point of view of contemporary Eco-city requirements”.
