National Science Center completes OPUS 19 and PRELUDIUM 19 competitions

The results of the OPUS and PRELUDIUM competitions have been published for the nineteenth time. Polish researchers will receive over PLN 487 million for projects implemented as part of basic research. This year, 4,096 applications were submitted and 595 were accepted for funding by the National Science Center (NCN).

OPUS is a competition addressed to all scientists, regardless of their research internship and academic title, in which they can apply for funding for their research project, including the purchase or production of research equipment.

PRELUDIUM is a competition addressed to people starting their scientific careers without a PhD title, in which they can apply for funding for the implementation of the project. Their research team should have up to three people – including the project manager and research supervisor.
