Naukobus

Naukobusy – modern mobile laboratories with more than 20 exhibits that can be touched and tested  have reached almost 100,000 children from all Poland.

According to the program of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the kids have the opportunity to learn the secrets of the human body, carry out experiments in physics or to cheat their senses. All this is provided under the supervision of animators from the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw.

Naukobusy visit villages and smaller cities (up to 130,000 inhabitants). This initiative aims at equalizing educational opportunities and also aims to prevent exclusion.

The science ministry allocated PLN 2.3 million this year to the activity of children’s universities and to popularize science among the youngest. As part of Young Explorers’ Universities, children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 had a chance to feel like real scientists. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Young Explorers’ Universities appeared in all provinces.
