New competition of the ForestValue2 network

In collaboration with the ForestValue2 network (HORIZON EUROPE Coordination and Support Action), the National Science Centre (NCN) is launching a competition for international research projects aimed at gaining knowledge about better use of forests and forest resources for the benefit of the environment and society.

Research proposals must address at least one of the following topics: Resilient sustainable forest systems and management; Sustainable timber building systems.

International consortia consisting of at least three research teams from at least three different countries participating in the competition can apply for funding. The leader of the Polish team must hold at least a doctoral degree. Countries participating in the competition include: Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.

The total amount of funding allocated by NCN for the implementation of tasks by Polish research teams in the competition is EUR 500,000.
