08.03.2018

Mayor of Płock Andrzej Nowakowski and Prof. Maciej Słodki, rector of the State Higher Vocational School in Płock, opened a new obstetrics and gynecology lab. It will be part of the Medical Simulation Center, which is being created at the Płock University as part of a project financed by the European Union.

The studio also received support from the city in the amount of PLN 200,000 to equip the laboratory. The center is to provide the education for nursing and midwifery students using the latest global technologies. The Płock contribution was targeted to adapt and extend the simulation center. This allowed to purchase the training simulators of body organs and areas, phantoms and simulators of artificial patients with functioning systems and organs. The equipment will enable students to master technical qualifications and will support learning how to communicate with the patient correctly.
