30.03.2018

The Center of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology in Opole presented the latest generation of medical simulators obtained by the University of Opole.

“Our university is finalizing the agreement with the Ministry of Health, which allocates the significant part of funding for these medical simulation centers” – assured Prof. Zenon Halaba.

In Opole, the latest generation of a newborn simulator, an adult Hal simulator, a simulator to learn how to intubate a patient, and simulators for learning and improving laparoscopic surgery are available.

“Being a doctor requires constant striving for perfection to eliminate the possibility of mistakes. This is the possibility provided by educational simulators, when, for example, a patient simulator can be intubated up to fifty times in order to do it flawlessly at the fifty first time “- explained Prof. Ḩalaba.
