Opole public universities to tighten their cooperation

24.12.2021

Opole public universities will tighten their cooperation. Thanks to the signed contract, the Confucius Institute operating at the Opole University of Technology will teach Mandarin to students of the University of Opole. Classes will be free.

The Confucius Institute conducts free Chinese language courses for students of the Opole University of Technology. The facility also offers commercial courses. And so far, the students from other universities had only such an opportunity to learn Mandarin.

– We are tightening cooperation with the University of Opole. Teaching Chinese by two professional Chinese teachers will be free of charge – says the rector of the Opole University of Technology, Prof. Marcin Lorenc.

The Poland-China Cooperation Center – Confucius Institute is a public benefit institution whose mission is to promote the Chinese language and culture. The center in Opole is one of 200 such institutions in the world, associated in an international network.
