Vivien Świerczek, a graduate of the Opole University of Technology (PO) in the field of management and production engineering, has won a nationwide competition for the best thesis, organised by the Polish Production Management Association. Three works by PO students Justyna Helfrycz, Patrycja Sawicka and Daria Materac were also recognised in the competition.

Vivien Świerczek’s engineering thesis dealt with the development of a system for evaluating technical improvement processes. 

“In the theoretical part, I devoted a lot to improvement methods; in the practical part, I created a programme that helps companies find out which improvements will be most profitable for them. In my work I relied on information from the District Dairy Cooperative in Głubczyce”, says the winner.
