PhD student from the University of Wroclaw nominated for the Fulbright Junior Research Award

 Dorothy Choińska, the second-year PhD student at the School of History of Doctor of the University of Wroclaw and the Spanish Open University of Catalonia in Barcelona, was nominated for the Fulbright Junior Research Award 2022-23. 

During the five-month research trip to New York University, the winner will deal with the activities of American organizations, aid workers and Polish Jewish refugees arrested by the Spanish authorities. The aim of the study is to present the efforts of charities, feelings refugees themselves, challenges set before them that war and their thoughts and emotions aroused by the wander.

The Fulbright Junior Research Award is scholarship for people preparing a doctoral dissertation at Polish scientific institutions for the implementation of their own research project in the USA, related to the subject of their doctoral dissertation. The scholarship lasts from 4 to 10 months.
