28.02.2018

Smartphone-size devices, capable of treating water for one person with the help of sunlight and desktop modules producing valuable pharmaceutical substances from chemical waste are the innovative devices produced thanks to the ultrasonic technology of applying titanium dioxide layers to the inner walls of pipes with micrometric diameters – informs the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in the press release.

Scientists from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences were the first to research and describe the technique of depositing TiO2 nanoparticles on the inner walls of tubes with micrometer diameters in an article in the journal Ultrasonics – Sonochemistry.

The research was financed from the SONATA BIS grant from the National Science Center.
