Polish Academy of Sciences to hold conference “Poland in the Europe of Tomorrow”

The “Poland 2000 Plus” Forecast Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and Team Europe in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Poland are organizing the conference “Poland in the Europe of Tomorrow” on November 18-19, 2021.

During two days of debates at the Staszic Palace in Warsaw, experts will discuss the following topics: The EU and the post-COVID-19 world; The role and place of the EU in creating the international order; Desired direction of the EU migration policy; Is there an alternative to capitalism in the 21st century ?; The common European interest and the sovereignty of the member states; National identities as components of the European identity;  Law-abiding Poland in the European Union.

The “Polska 2000 Plus” Forecasting Committee is part of a scientific corporation of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It was established in 1969 and its primary focus was domestic matters. Today, it pays more and more attention to global problems that are important in the context of Poland’s development. The committee is composed of representatives of many scientific disciplines.
