Polish delegation visits Japan to cooperate in the energy storage technologies

Michał Kurtyka, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Energy visited Japan.

The delegation with Polish representatives of state companies and key institutions supporting the implementation of innovative solutions in Poland visited a factory producing cells for lithium-ion batteries. The delegation members were acquainted with the technologies used in this industry. During the talks, Deputy Minister Kurtyka assured that Poland is ready to cooperate for the development of energy storage technologies.

Deputy Minister also took part in the 9th International Rechargeable Battery Expo – Battery Japan. The fair is recognized as the global meeting for representatives of the battery industry.

In February 2018, the Polish scientific consortium Pol-Stor-En was founded, established by seven scientific units, whose goal is cooperation in the research on energy storage.
