The Ministry of Science and Higher Education and its executive agencies: National Center for Research and Development, National Academic Exchange Agency, Information Processing Center – National Research Institute and National Contact Point for European Union Research Programs in the current perspective (2014-2020) will allocate in total over PLN 21 billion from European funds to support the transfer of knowledge from science to the economy.

– While creating a strategy for Polish science, we accepted as the basic assumption that innovations are for people. Inventions are created to improve not only GDP level, but above all the everyday life of Poles, especially in such areas as health, safety or education. In order to achieve such goals, we must invest in brave people and their visionary projects – said Jarosław Gowin, deputy prime minister, minister of science and higher education.
