Polish student app will help blind people

02.02.2018

Polish students developed an application that will help blind people to move in the university.

24 hours, 14 teams, over 20 thousand lines of code and the result is an application for people with visual disabilities. It can be controlled only by simple gestures and an intuitive interface, which allows to pass to various lecture halls. The innovative idea of students from Warsaw and Krakow was awarded by the hackathon jurors at the Campus App Challenge. Now, the winners are developing the software under the guidance of professionals, and they target more than 40 its implementations at Polish universities and schools abroad.
