Polish universities received Intervention Grants from the National Agency for Academic Exchange

Ten universities received grants from the Scientific Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) for co-financing scientific projects, which will contribute to solving scientific problems of key importance for society. Nine projects are dedicated to research related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The total amount of co-financed projects is over PLN 2 million.

The purpose of the NAWA Intervention Grants program is to support international cooperation of research teams or the mobility of scientists in response to important, sudden and unforeseen social, civilization and natural phenomena with global or regionally significant consequences.

Universities that have received research funding under NAWA Intervention Grants include: Lower Silesian University in Wrocław; Koszalin’s Technological University; Opole University of Technology; Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin; SWPS University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw; Warsaw University of Life Sciences; University of Economics in Poznań; University of Silesia in Katowice; Warsaw Medical University; University of Technology in Katowice.
