Polish universities will receive PLN 30 million from European Funds for accessibility knowledge centers under the new competition from the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) in August.

Universities can apply for funds for projects that include the creation and maintain of the accessibility centers as premises supporting the application and dissemination of universal projecting principles in the higher education.

The project is implemented under the governmental Accessibility Plus Program. It provides creating universal design knowledge centers to improve the competences of entrepreneurs, device and product manufacturers in terms of accessibility.

The call for applications in the “Accessibility Knowledge Center” competition will start on August 24 and will last until October 20, 2020.
