Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia to launch the Vika – a way for a longer, healthy life

18.09.2020

A multidisciplinary team of Polish scientists, doctors and engineers from the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia is working on an application that will calculate how many years of health people can expect. The algorithm takes into account individual data on lifestyle, sleep hygiene, meals and physical activity.

The Vika application makes you aware of the condition of our health, showing clear and understandable information. A 40-year-old person may see that he will be healthy for another 30 years, but it may also turn out to be much shorter. It all depends on his lifestyle.

– Everyone who wants to enjoy their health longer will find something useful in the Vika application in the form of Health Missions. The missions work like a game, with the goal of making your lifestyle healthier and gaining extra years. Our goal is one million years of health more – says Łukasz Osowski, co-founder of Viki.
