Psychology, economy and Japanese studies are the most popular studies at the Jagiellonian University

The Enrolment Department for Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow presented the results of the first round of enrollment, which was conducted for BA and MA studies.

In the academic year 2022/2023, the Jagiellonian University prepared 9,850 places for students at BA and MA studies. 33,427 candidates submitted applications in the first round of recruitment.

Most candidates registered for psychology taught at the Faculty of Philosophy – 2,475 people. This year, 1,837 candidates applied for the law. 1,589 people want to study psychology at the Faculty of Management and Communication. 1167 candidates chose English philology, and 1082 candidates for medicine, according to the Jagiellonian University.

The hardest part will be psychology, with 20.63 candidates per place. For economics – 16, Japanese studies – 15.57, medicine and dentistry – 11.85 and finance, banking, insurance – 11.8.
