Prof. Ewa A. Jankowska, head of the Department of Translational Cardiology and Clinical Registries at the Institute of Heart Diseases at the Medical University of Wrocław (UMW), has won the University of Oxford’s Master of Sciences in Clinical Trials. She was among an elite group of 14 people to graduate with this degree and is the only graduate this year from Poland and our part of Europe.

“I have always dreamt of studying at Oxford, but in the past, studying at top universities abroad financially and formally was virtually impossible. Now I have finally made my dream come true. It is great fun”, says Prof. Ewa A. Jankowska.

Postgraduate studies in clinical research at Oxford are in great demand among scientists. It is not easy, as the bar is set high. During the several-stage recruitment process, the results of studies, scientific achievements, and the ability to present one’s professional and communication competences during interviews were taken into account.
