Researcher of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, nominated for the “Polityka” Scientific Award

Dr Katharina Boguslawski of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, was a finalist of the 20th Scientific Awards of the Polityka journal. The researcher of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the Toruń University is one of fifteen people nominated for the awards for outstanding young scientists.

The jury, composed of professors and public persons, will select 5 laureates from among the finalists who will receive scholarships of 15,000. PLN. The remaining ten finalists will receive prizes of 5,000. PLN.

The young researcher is a laureate of the “Marie Skłodowskiej-Curie Action Individual Fellowship” awarded by the European Commission and a member of the Academy of Young Scientists of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She represents exact sciences in the competition, while the other winners were selected in the categories of humanities, social sciences, life sciences and technical sciences.
