Researchers at the University of Wrocław to study migration processes

Dr Patrycja Matusz-Protasiewicz and Prof. Leszek Kwieciński from the Department of Strategic and European Studies at the Institute of International Studies of the University of Wrocław received funding within the Horizon 2020 for the ADMIGOV project – Advancing Alternative Migration Governance.

The project concerns migration management in the European Union as the impact of globalization on migration and Europeanisation processes, protection of human rights, international law and systemic approach to migration as a new type of public policy and intergroup relations. The surveys will also cover sending non-EU migrants.

The project is managed by the University of Amsterdam. The consortium consists of 13 entities, including universities, international and non-governmental organizations. This is a RIA (Research and Innovation Actions) project, which means that it is financed by the EU. The total budget is almost EUR 2.8 million.
