Researchers from the Jagiellonian University awarded by the American Association of Clinical Anatomists

Dr Przemysław Pękala and Dr Brandon Michael Henry from the Department of Anatomy of the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum received awards from the American Association of Clinical Anatomists – AACA. It is the largest and most prestigious association of scientists in the field of anatomy around the world.

Dr. Przemysław Pękala received the award for the best science poster (Biomechanics behind the age-related changes in the Anatomy of the Achilles Tendom), and Dr. Brandon Michael Henry for the best anatomical publication (Consensus guidelines for the flat reporting of study ethics in anatomical research within the framework of the anatomical quality assurance (AQUA) checklist). The winning works were created in the Department of Anatomy of the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum under the supervision of Prof. Jerzy Walocha and Dr Krzysztof Tomaszewski.
