Researchers at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań are co-authors of the report “Polish School of Helping. Reception of refugees from Ukraine in Poland in 2022” The report summarises the last year of reception and integration activities in Poland and diagnoses the needs and challenges that still await us one year after the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. 

Co-authored by Prof. Natalia Bloch, Prof. Izabella Main and Joanna Urbańska MA, the compilation is the result of cooperation between the Centre for Migration Studies at UAM, the Centre for Migration Studies at the University of Warsaw and the Multiculturalism and Migration Observatory at the Jagiellonian University and the organisations forming the Migration Consortium. 

The publication covers such issues as: Migrants and refugees: needs and plans of Ukrainian women and men in Poland; Local governments and the reception of female refugees from Ukraine; The response of male and female residents to the arrival of female refugees; The role of the Ukrainian community in supporting Ukrainian persons in Poland.
