Rev. Stanisław Musiał Award for merits in the Christian-Jewish and Polish-Jewish dialogue

On 3 March 2023, in the auditorium of the Collegium Novum of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow, the Rev. Stanislaw Musial Award will be presented to persons of merit for Christian and Polish-Jewish dialogue. This year, historian Małgorzata Międzobrodzka was awarded for her work, and teacher Agnieszka Mysakowska for her social activities.

Małgorzata Międzobrodzka is the author of a book on the history of Wieliczka Jews, ” Jews in Wieliczka. A Documentary Story”. This work of over 500 pages was published on the 80th anniversary of the Holocaust of the Jews of Wieliczka. 

Agnieszka Mysakowska is a history teacher at the J. Korczak Secondary School in Wieluń. For years, she has consistently made efforts to promote the dialogue between cultures and to preserve the memory of Wieluń’s Jews, as well as to educate young people in the spirit of dialogue and respect for others.
